Privacy policy

Myvaluta.ge can be used without an account and without telling us who you are. This page explains which data is processed when you use the site, and why.

Who is responsible

Kredito LLC, Tbilisi, Georgia, operates Myvaluta.ge and is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: info@myvaluta.ge.

When you browse the site

Technical data. Like every web server, ours, along with the Cloudflare network that delivers and protects the site, processes the IP address, the time, the page requested and the type of browser. This data is needed to deliver the page and to defend the site against attacks; it is kept in logs for a short time and is not used to identify you.
No cookies of ours. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it has to tell visitors from automated traffic.
Your settings stay with you. The choice of the light or dark theme, and whether you closed the subscription prompt, is stored in your browser (local storage) and is never sent to us.
The converter works in your browser. The amounts you enter are calculated on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Statistics

We count visits only in aggregate: how many times a page was opened, from which country, on which kind of device. These statistics come from the counter of top.ge, the Georgian website ranking, shown in the footer: to display it, your browser loads a small script and image from top.ge, which sees your IP address, the address of the page, the page you came from and the size of your screen. We use no other statistics tool and no cookies for statistics.

If you subscribe to the newsletter we keep your e-mail address, the language you chose and the time of your subscription. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe we stop writing to you, and we delete the address on request.

When you write to us

If you contact us by e-mail or through the contact form, we process your name, your e-mail address and your message in order to answer you. Messages sent through the form are kept for one year. We do not keep the sender’s IP address, only a hash of it from which the address cannot be recovered; it helps us stop abuse of the form.

Advertising

Advertisements on the site are images and links that we place ourselves; they do not track you. When you follow one, the privacy policy of the advertiser’s site applies.

Who receives data

Technical data is processed on our behalf by our hosting provider and by Cloudflare, and e-mail is delivered through an e-mail service provider. We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to anyone else, unless the law obliges us to.

Your rights

Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing and withdraw a consent you have given. Write to info@myvaluta.ge. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia.

Changes

When the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
